T: Do you have a specific vision for your industry?
A: The creative industry changes so fast, I guess it has a lot to do with how the world is changing. We expect different content, experiences, and different ways of seeing things – I think as creatives and designers we have to adapt to that.
T: Which project are you most proud of?
A: A project which unfortunately never got released due to covid, it was an installation design for Milan Design Week. Another project I’m proud of is a new gallery project which will open its doors in Spring 2022.
T: What does diversity mean to you?
A: It’s about the uniqueness of the individual and embracing many different elements to develop a more inclusive culture.
T: Who inspires you and why?
A: My parents have always inspired me because whatever they have achieved in life, and wherever they are, it is simply about working hard and staying focused on the goals that are set. They always taught me not to worry about my weaknesses and take advantage of my strengths. This has developed a lot of confidence in me in different situations.
T: Do you live by any words of wisdom?
A: Be open-minded. When you are willing to consider ideas that are new to your own, it will help you grow as a person.
T: What can make you emotional, and why?
A: Time – I often have the feeling that I’m running a race that I can’t finish. As a culture, we hate being idle but actually, the feeling of not having enough time is a lie. I’m learning not to go so hard on myself, to try not to label myself, and to not be busy all the time.
T: Main mission for Oyu studio?
A: It’s all about collaboration. As creatives, our inspiration comes from all around but the best way is to meet, exchange and collaborate with creatives, thinkers, and brands who take part in the evolution of creating. That’s what makes it exciting.
